When we start to prioritize ourselves we tend to do one thing that will for sure self-sabotageā¦
We set our goals too big!!!
Right!!!
I remember when I started working out again because I wanted to lose the 10 lbs I had gained from turning 30 (what is that?? I turned 30 and it was like, hello 10 lbs, where did you come from??? (My eating habits hadnāt changed) šš
Anywayā¦I went from doing nothing to running 3 nights a week š³š³š³ I hadnāt even been walking!!! What was I thinking??
It lasted for about 3 weeks, and then my body hurt too much, I was too tired, I was overwhelmed, and I hadnāt even lost a pound š©
I stoppedā¦for 14 months I did nothing, until after I had another child and then had 60 lbs to lose š¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļø
This time, I started slow and manageable and built upon that š„° I got my body back to strength through yoga š§š»āāļø then I started with walking š¶š¼āāļø and then I went to running šāāļø
We canāt go from 0 to 60, it just doesnāt work, itās not sustainable, and if we are beating ourselves up along the way thatās double trouble š¢
Are you setting your goals too big?
Here is the key š to long term changeā¦
Itās all about our thoughts š¤ Because our thoughts are what create our feelings ā„ļø And our feelings drive our actions š„° And our actions are what create the results we get in life š„°
When we live our life in a way that aligns with who we want to be, it improves our mind, body, and spirit š„°
