How To Not Self-Sabotage

When we start to prioritize ourselves we tend to do one thing that will for sure self-sabotage…

We set our goals too big!!!


I remember when I started working out again because I wanted to lose the 10 lbs I had gained from turning 30 (what is that?? I turned 30 and it was like, hello 10 lbs, where did you come from??? (My eating habits hadn’t changed) 😂😂

Anyway…I went from doing nothing to running 3 nights a week 😳😳😳 I hadn’t even been walking!!! What was I thinking??

It lasted for about 3 weeks, and then my body hurt too much, I was too tired, I was overwhelmed, and I hadn’t even lost a pound 😩

I stopped…for 14 months I did nothing, until after I had another child and then had 60 lbs to lose 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

This time, I started slow and manageable and built upon that 🥰 I got my body back to strength through yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️ then I started with walking 🚶🏼‍♀️ and then I went to running 🏃‍♀️

We can’t go from 0 to 60, it just doesn’t work, it’s not sustainable, and if we are beating ourselves up along the way that’s double trouble 😢

It’s all about our thoughts 🤔 Because our thoughts are what create our feelings ♥️ And our feelings drive our actions 🥰 And our actions are what create the results we get in life 🥰

When we live our life in a way that aligns with who we want to be, it improves our mind, body, and spirit 🥰
