All Or Nothing

So many of us don’t realize how our brains will stop us from achieving our goals because it uses “All or Nothing” thinking unconsciously

All or nothing thinking can look like…

20 min. isn’t enough to get my whole workout in, so I am just not going to do any of it (but see how 20 mins of a workout keeps you closer to your goal than nothing?)

I messed up on diet this week, so what’s the point…I’ll start again next week (but notice how that goes from one day off of our eating desires to how many? Getting us further from our goals)

I missed reading my scriptures or saying my prayers, so what’s the point…(notice how this thinking keeps you from these longer)

This “all or nothing” thinking can be so hard to recognize, but you are self-sabotaging your goals
