3-20-2011 was my #Sobriety date 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It was exactly 11 years ago that I turned from my #Addictions of 20 years and turned to my Savior, Jesus Christ ♥️
👉🏻 I went to church for the first time
👉🏻 I paid tithing for the first time
👉🏻 I dumped out a brand new bottle of wine
👉🏻 I broke my pipe and flushed my drugs
👉🏻 I threw out my old identity and stepped into a new one
👉🏻 I started on this very long journey of Self Love
Once an #Addict always an addict though, my new addictions just happen to be healthier 😉
👉🏻 I am a daughter of God ♥️
👉🏻 I am a disciple of Jesus Christ ♥️
👉🏻 I am a #runner ( hence why my tag line is #runningismymedicine ) 🏃♀️
I knew this day was coming a week ago, but my son has been sick all week and so it had escaped my mind. Thankfully, I had a wonderful conversation with my cousin, Teesha, that made me realize what today was 🥰
I don’t want to go without celebrating this 😁
