Why Are You Depriving Yourself?

I want you to consider for a moment… 

What are you depriving yourself of that you truly want, simply because you give in to an urge of something that sounds good in the moment, but you don’t really want 

In the moment it give you that instant gratification 

But it takes away the gratification of what you really want 

For instance:

Perhaps you want to be a more loving wife and stop criticizing your husband

or a better mom and stop yelling at your kids all the time

but in a moment of anger you slip back to what feels "right" in the moment, ultimately not becoming who you want to be


Perhaps you want to lose some weight, but in the midst of all the Holiday Festivities you find yourself eating more than you want or drinking more than you want because it all looks and tastes so good, but it's keeping you from reaching that goal weight


Maybe you have a goal to improve your fitness and you have found that getting the proper rest is holding you back, but after getting the kids to bed and have some quiet time with your hubby turns into midnight every night, and it's keeping you from reaching that next level
