Emotions vs Sensations

Knowing the difference between an emotion and a sensation is SO important to understand


An emotion starts in our brain with our thoughts and goes through our body as a vibration


A sensation starts in our body and goes to our brain


Why is this important and how can it help?


Two problems we have as humans is “tired” and “hunger”


Both hunger and tired are emotions and sensations


As a sensation when we are truly hungry it starts in our body and tells our brain we need fuel; when we are truly tired it starts in our body and tells our brain we need more sleep


As an emotion we can create the feeling of tired by thoughts we are thinking about all the things we “have” to do; we can create the feeing of hunger with thoughts of how we could feel better if we eat something right now


When we slow things down, go into our body, and identify what is really happening it is Life Changing to how we respond


If we are really hungry or tired do what is needed to care for yourself


If we are creating these emotions with our thoughts then we can take control and consciously choose since this is where ALL our power lies


When we live our life in a way that aligns with who we want to be, it improves our mind, body, and spirit
